chikako watanabe

From the North Pole to the South Pole, Chikako Watanabe goes in search of local communities and their environment. She registers and translates past and present. Watanabe shows her findings worldwide with her ‘ceremonial Chikahome’ and her imaginative spatial installations with videos, sculptures, drawings and textile and ceramic works.
